A rare opportunity to break into the exciting world of orthopaedic medical device sales and join a high-performing team in one of MedTech's most dynamic specialties.

We are currently seeking a driven Associate Territory Manager to join our Orthopaedics team in Melbourne, VIC. This is an ideal opportunity for junior sales professionals, healthcare practitioners, or allied health professionals looking to transition into the medical device industry, with hands-on exposure to orthopaedic surgery, operating theatres, and innovative technologies that help patients regain mobility, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love.

No prior medical device sales experience is required. We're looking for high-potential individuals with strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and a desire to build a long-term career in MedTech.

Depending on business needs and your background, successful candidates may have opportunities within our Foot & Ankle or Sports Medicine businesses.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and increase market share across a market-leading orthopaedic portfolio

  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital stakeholders

  • Provide clinical support in operating theatres, assisting surgeons and theatre teams during procedures

  • Deliver product demonstrations, education, and training to customers

  • Support inventory management and ensure product availability for surgical cases

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships

  • Travel across Melbourne and surrounding territories as required

Skills and experience

Required

  • Sales, healthcare, allied health, or customer-facing experience

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to achieve targets

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence a variety of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and build new customer relationships

  • High levels of motivation, resilience, and accountability

  • A willingness to learn clinical concepts and operate confidently within a healthcare environment

Preferred

  • Knowledge of anatomy, orthopaedics, biomechanics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, or surgical environments

  • Experience working with clinicians, healthcare professionals, or hospital customers
