The London based M&A Technology team is seeking to hire an Associate to join its growing team


Your role :

  • Work in the team to support with the origination and execution of transactions typically working on multiple projects and reporting to a Vice President or Director / Managing Director including;
    • Oversee the work of Analysts, providing guidance and training and be the first reviewer of their work;
    • Lead on the collection and analysis of complex datasets, particularly the customer data cube, to provide actionable insights and present evidence supporting the equity story;
    • Drafting of information memoranda and other marketing materials with a focus on financial and numerical evidence aspects;
    • Design, build and finalise integrated operating models using best practise standards with the client team;
    • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and other business development materials;
    • Assist in the valuation analysis of public and private companies; and
    • Take responsibility for drafting the EV to Equity bridge and deal funds flow under the guidance of the senior team.

 

Your offer :

  • 4 years+ experience in a lead advisory M&A role in an accounting firm, investment bank or top tier boutique M&A firm;
  • You have completed at least 6 sell-side transactions ideally within technology sector;
  • A passion for working in the upper mid-market and adaptability to work across all workstreams of a project up and down;
  • Solid financial knowledge and analytical skills (accounting, financial analysis, financial modelling, company valuation methods, etc.);
  • Ideally have completed financial qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent);
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to excellence, enabling you to work both autonomously and within a team;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage professional relationships, excellent time keeping and commitment to delivering required tasks on time;
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) additional languages are a bonus; and
  • Well versed with IT applications and research tools for your role.
