Job Description:
We are seeking a technically skilled Associate - Technology, Customer and Operations to join our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) team. The successful candidate will manage the onsite warehouse operations, leveraging their expertise in SQL, WMS, Various Reporting Tools, APIs, interfaces, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to enhance efficiency and resolve technical issues. This role demands a deep technical understanding of WMS applications, SQL and warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the WMS for seamless operation and integration with warehouse processes.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting and resolve WMS-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT and warehouse teams for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Gather and analyze requirements with stakeholders, translating them into detailed Functional Business Requirements (FBR).
- Develop comprehensive FBR documents aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Create process maps and workflows, and document user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize advanced reporting tools (Power BI, Birst, SSRS) to create dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights.
- Understanding the APIs and interfaces for seamless WMS integration.
- Provide technical support for WMS applications, implement technical fixes and enhancements, and maintain troubleshooting documentation.
- Understand and document technical aspects of warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with staff to identify technical requirements.
- Provide training and support on WMS usage and best practices.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role in warehouse management or supply chain environments.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in SQL, including creation, optimization, and management of stored procedures and queries.
- Experience with technical reporting tools such as Power BI/Birst/SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will be an advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with APIs, interfaces, and EDI integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
