Associate Technical Project Manager - Automation & innovation

NEXTracker is seeking an exceptional Associate Technical Project Manager to spearhead the development of new products. This role, blending elements of business analysis, program management, and Scrum Master responsibilities, demands a profound comprehension of supply chain operations, adeptness in system integration and automation, and the capability to manage visual data for insightful decision-making. Additionally, the chosen candidate will lead the team, fostering continuous improvement and maintaining a strong leadership presence throughout the project lifecycle.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of new products, including planning, execution, and delivery.

  • Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans and schedules for a portfolio of cross-functional projects.

  • Standardize business processes and digital capabilities to track portfolio performance, ensuring success by measuring critical milestones and committed benefits.

  • Manage internal stakeholders to deliver digital solutions on time and in good quality.

  • Provide proactive feedback and advice towards program management best practices.

  • Regularly report the status of all programs, progress vs. plan, risks & issues to internal business stakeholders per communication plan. Recommend risk remediation strategy.

  • Maintain relationships and communication with all key stakeholders- set and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee agile development processes to deliver incremental value to the business functions.

  • Track and report on key project metrics related to budget, timeline, resourcing, risks, and issues.

  • Escalate delays or budget overruns, and provide analysis and corrective action plans.

  • Define processes and enforce standards to ensure all projects adhere to internal policies and operating procedures.

  • Work with product and technology leaders to align software initiatives to business objectives.

  • Communicate program status reports across leadership and key stakeholders.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale software engineering projects and programs.

  • Experience in business analysis, program management, and Scrum Master roles.

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience serving as a Scrum Master.

  • Proficiency in system integration, automation, and data management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and other project management tools.

  • Excellent organization, collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
     

Desired:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or equivalent.

  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
