The Role
We are looking for an Associate Technical Product Manager to join our Point of Care AI team that is building the next generation of AI-powered healthcare technology. As a key member of this team, you will be primarily responsible for our data annotation product and operations. This will include ownership and project execution for data annotation operations and workflows, executing a roadmap for our generative AI model training and evaluation tools, and reporting on model success criteria, and acting as the internal Subject Matter Expert for our evolving data annotation schema.
The Associate Technical Product Manager works alongside product team members, business owners, data analysts, designers and engineers to develop and refine requirements, project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans. At Aledade, you will be working on an ecosystem of applications, sophisticated analytics, and a robust set of integration capabilities to enable primary care practices, operational teams, and external partners to deliver innovative value-based care programs, technology and services that improve the health and wellbeing of our patients.
As an Associate Technical Product Manager, you’ll report to and be mentored by a Technical Product Manager at Aledade. You will be hands-on building innovative technology while you develop your skills as a product manager. Primary Duties:
- Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective.
- Ongoing optimization of live user workflows and capabilities including monitoring of key metrics & user feedback
- Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
- Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
- Execute on short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.
- Manage the day to day operations of Aledade’s Point of Care data annotation workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- 2+ years of product management or similar technology experience in large healthcare organizations, product development or SaaS platforms.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Experience with generative AI model training and evaluation operations
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows, ideally for outpatient settings or value based care arrangements.
- Experience with at least one Electronic Health Record
- Operations/Project management experience
- Experience using data and primary research to inform business decision making
- Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Trello
- Experience writing clear specifications / technical writing
- Experience working with process documentation tools
