Business Title: Associate Technical Architect

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and solution-oriented Associate Technical Architect to lead the design and development of customer data solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), or other Salesforce clouds, and will have transitioned into working hands-on with Salesforce Data Cloud.

This role involves translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, designing data models, and leading a team of developers to ensure successful delivery. The Associate Technical Architect will work closely with enterprise architects, product owners, and marketing stakeholders to align technical execution with strategic goals.

Must-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation

Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio

Experience in designing and reviewing data models for customer data platforms

Experience with Einstein

Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs

Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors

Strong skills in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation

Experience in leading development teams, managing tasks, and ensuring delivery quality

Familiarity with identity resolution, consent management, and data governance

Good-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization

Client-facing experience and ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders

Familiarity with audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization strategies

Key Responsibilities:

Design and lead implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions aligned with business goals

Translate business requirements into technical designs and development plans

Define and review data models, schemas, and ingestion pipelines

Integrate Data Cloud with MCP and other MarTech platforms for activation and personalization

Act as development lead, managing a team of developers and ensuring timely delivery

Collaborate with enterprise architects to align with overall data strategy and governance

Ensure data quality, privacy compliance, and performance optimization

Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across platforms

Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards and reusable components

Support audience creation, segmentation, and journey orchestration workflows

Participate in roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Education Qualification:

Bachelors in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science, Data, IT

Graduates from other fields with good communication and analytical skills

Certification (If Any):

  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant

  • Marketing Cloud Personalization Accredited Professional

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
