Salary pegged to AUD or paid in AUD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define application requirements and user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical support and training as needed.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement new features and improve existing functionalities based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and integrate relevant technologies into projects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and user experience.
• Document technical specifications, architecture designs, and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Android application development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Sound knowledge of Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with debugging using Android Studio to troubleshoot application issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of Android app distribution processes (e.g., Google Play Store).
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter and React Native is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP), and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services (e.g., Firebase).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
