As an Associate Technical Consultant, you will be part of a highly collaborative and customer-focused team dedicated to supporting advanced medical technologies and improving patient outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience, develop technical expertise, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals. This position is based in Riyadh and is responsible for supporting customers across the CZ, including Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia.
The Associate Technical Consultant will report to the Regional Technical Consulting Manager and will work closely with sales, marketing, and clinical stakeholders. Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required to provide case support, deliver product training, and ensure excellent customer service. The role involves regular interaction with physicians, operating rooms, and hospital staff, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy a field-based environment and are passionate about healthcare technology and patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide technical and clinical support during procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of Medtronic products and therapies
  • Deliver product training and clinical education to physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and hospital staff
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to support account development and therapy adoption
  • Monitor and manage consignment inventory within assigned hospitals to ensure product availability for procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of case support activities, customer interactions, and inventory using company systems 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide clinical support during Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures using Medtronic coronary technologies
  • Support physicians during Renal Denervation (RDN) procedures and assist with therapy adoption initiatives
  • Work closely with Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) teams to support procedures and deliver clinical training
  • Medtronic Technologies: to improve outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field
  • 2–3 years of experience in medical devices, clinical support, healthcare services, or a related industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to learn and apply technical and clinical knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in catheterization laboratories (Cath Lab), interventional cardiology, vascular, or other cardiovascular procedures, as well as familiarity with medical device technologies and clinical case support. Additional certifications or training related to biomedical engineering or clinical applications are considered an advantage. This is a field-based role requiring regular presence in hospitals and healthcare facilities across Riyadh and Qassim, with close collaboration with physicians, Cath Lab teams, and internal Medtronic stakeholders to support optimal patient outcomes.
