Job Summary:
This role is responsible for day-to-day user access administration and basic system maintenance within Oracle E-Business Suite. This role focuses on user provisioning and deprovisioning, maintaining access controls, and performing minor configuration updates (e.g., Purchasing ship-to locations). The position provides first-level support to end users, ensures compliance with access policies, and maintains accurate documentation of system changes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage Oracle EBS user access, including user creation, modification, and deactivation, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Maintain and update user roles and responsibilities based on approved requests, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties and audit requirements.
- Perform basic Oracle system maintenance, including minor configuration updates (e.g., Purchasing ship-to locations, lookup values, profile options as assigned).
- Provide end-user support for access-related issues and general Oracle navigation questions; log and track incidents to resolution.
- Assist with access reviews and audits (SOX controls) by validating user roles and supporting documentation.
- Maintain documentation for user access procedures, configuration updates, and standard operating processes.
- Support routine system monitoring and escalate issues to technical teams when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems preferred
- Familiarity with user access management concepts
- With 2 - 4 years of experience in Oracle EBS support or user access administration
- Experience with user provisioning/deprovisioning and basic system maintenance
- Amenable to work in EST
- Must be flexible with the schedule, including weekends and holidays when required based on operational needs
