What You'll Do
- Under management direction, review business requirements to draft software design and review with engineering team for approval.
- Break down work items into tasks and provide development estimates.
- Implement and unit test software functions in accordance with DSE standards.
- Collaborate with other developers and QA team to ensure proper test coverage, resolve issues as needed to deliver high quality software systems.
- Regularly communicate task status to team members and identify risk areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Technical Degree. Must have a minimum of one year of software development engineering experience.
- Skilled in major programming languages such as C#, java, and python.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Capability to write and optimize SQL statements and stored procedures.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as ASP.net or similar
- Experience with integrated development environments, test automation, and continuous development/continuous integration.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodologies.
Earn Well
- Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 depending on experience.
