Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 1) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be a fully remote opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure various commodities throughout multiple program

  • Conduct price analysis, work negotiations by using policies and procedures, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)s

  • Interface and collaborate with programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain

  • Schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives

  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business administration, supply chain, or related field; may consider 4 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months (internship or otherwise) of experience in supply, chain, purchasing/procurement, operations, and/or business

  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience

  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry

  • Experience with FAR/DFAR

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
