The Associate Strategy Insights Analyst supports strategic initiatives through market research, reporting, and data analysis. This entry-level role assists in gathering and organizing data, maintaining KPI reporting, and supporting research efforts that help inform business decisions and improve customer experience.
This role partners with teams across Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales, and Account Management to provide analytical and operational support. The Associate Strategy Insights Analyst develops foundational skills in market analysis, reporting, and strategic planning while learning about trends impacting the health insurance and health & wellness industries. Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and dependability are important for success in this role.

Candidates applying to this position must live within driving distance of the Omaha, Nebraska metro. This position allows remote flexibility but will have 1 day per week in the office. 

What you'll do:

  • Assist with researching market trends, competitors, and customer insights; summarize findings for team members and stakeholders
  • Support technical and business teams by gathering, organizing, and maintaining strategic and customer-related data
  • Help prepare KPI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for marketing, product, customer experience, and sales teams
  • Contribute to presentations and reporting materials for leadership and stakeholders
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and reliable data used for product planning and strategic initiatives
  • Support survey administration, data collection, and basic analysis for research and measurement projects
  • Assist with gathering information and preparing materials related to business cases and strategic evaluations, including financial projections
  • Support ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • One (1+) year of experience or internship experience in analytics, research, business operations, or strategy support
  • Basic experience with reporting, dashboards, surveys, or data analysis
  • Ability to identify trends and summarize findings from data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Health insurance or health care industry knowledge
  • Experience vetting ideas for potential product offerings or innovations
  • Experience coordinating strategic, customer, or business partner innovation initiatives
  • Experience building, administering and distributing metric dashboards
  • Skills in attribution / valuation methods for estimating return on investment, etc.
  • Skills in data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Azure, Databricks, R or Python, survey software such as QuestionPro, or AI tools such as Copilot

Skills Required
