Join our EGDS Biostatistics I&I Dermatology team as Associate Statistical Project Leader (Senior Manager) and you’ll provide support and leadership to the study and/or project team on all relevant statistical matters and is accountable for all statistical deliverables related to the study, under supervision of statistical project leader and/or team leader. Main responsibilities:

Scope of responsibilities

  • Lead one or several late phase studies or lead an indication for a complex compound.

  • Provide high-quality input into study design, setup, and conduct and accountable for statistical aspects of the study.

Statistical proficiency

  • Prepare statistical methods, contribute to result interpretation, and ensure statistical integrity in clinical study reports and publications; perform exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to support study or project objectives.

Project management

  • Plan, monitor and manage study activities, timelines to align practices in compliance with Sanofi SOPs and EGDS standards.

  • Mentor junior project team members and promote a culture of productive teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Decision-making autonomy & authority

  • Under supervision of statistical project leader and/or team leader.

  • Oversee execution of statistical analyses, coordinating with programmers as needed.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Develop productive collaboration with other functions in the aligned project team.

Organizational & Industry influence

  • Represent statistics to participate in scientific or technology working groups or cross-function activities.

 

About you

  • PhD in statistics or related discipline, with minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including experience with Biotech, pharma, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), health authorities and academic clinical research centers, or MS in statistics or related discipline, with minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including experience with Biotech, pharma, Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), health authorities and academic clinical research centers.

  • Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques; being able to do advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R.

  • Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience of participation to cross company &/or academia workings or special interest groups

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

The salary range for this position is:

$122,250.00 - $176,583.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
