The Associate/ Senior Associate will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of high - end luxury houses. This role demands strong design leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while driving innovation and maintaining the firm’s design philosophy.
1. Design Leadership & Strategic Direction
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of diverse housing typologies including villas, houses & resorts.
- Establish design direction and ensure alignment with the firm’s philosophy, emphasizing livability, sustainability, and contextual sensitivity.
- Drive innovation in residential design, focusing on unit efficiency, density optimization, and user experience.
2. Project Leadership & Coordination
- Act as the primary design lead coordinating with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Oversee integration of architectural, structural, MEP, façade, and landscape systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining design integrity.
3. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
- Lead resolution of complex technical and design challenges across all project stages.
- Ensure robust detailing, constructability, and compliance with local regulations and codes.
- Guide teams in implementing efficient planning strategies and innovative construction methodologies.
4. Documentation & Quality Control
- Oversee production and review of drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and firm protocols across all deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project manuals, typology guidelines, and design standards.
5. Site Oversight & Execution
- Conduct periodic site visits to review construction progress and design implementation.
- Lead resolution of site-related issues, RFIs, and coordination challenges.
- Ensure design intent is maintained through execution.
6. Client Engagement & Presentations
- Lead client interactions and presentations, articulating design concepts and project strategies effectively.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
7. Research, Innovation & Sustainability
- Stay updated with global housing trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Integrate sustainability frameworks such as GRIHA, LEED, ECBC, and WELL into projects.
- Drive research-led design approaches within the team.
8. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Support professional development through training, reviews, and CPD initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institute.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on residential/housing projects.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale housing or mixed-use developments.
- Strong design, technical, and project management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and relevant design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, housing standards, and sustainability frameworks (GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/WELL).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality residential projects is mandatory.
Skills Required
