Associate Specialist, Strategy Pricing & Interchange (Rosetta)
Overview
The Associate Analyst, will be responsible for supporting the Customer Economics Lead in developing interchange, pricing and business model strategies for different European countries as well as for pan European product solutions
He/she will be part of a dynamic team, at the heart of Mastercard business, working in close relationships with colleagues from all horizons: across geographies and functional areas, analyzing a fast moving economic landscape and supporting the design of the appropriate economics.
This position will enable the candidate to get a deep understanding of Mastercard strategy and competitive position in Europe. Furthermore, it will give him/her exposure to other key departments in Mastercard Europe and Global, such as the country teams, product and finance.
This position is a fix-term contract for candidates meeting the Rosetta eligibility criteria
Key accountabilities of the role:
• Supporting the development and maintenance of the pricing simulation tool• Running data analysis for existing and upcoming pricing and interchange decisions, for different European countries and new products and services;• Identify strengths and weaknesses of potential economic solutions, at business, operational and strategic level;• Be an active participant in strategy, acceptance and competitive economics projects;• Develop supporting materials to support our sales force with sufficient materials to defend the pricing and interchange strategies with our customer;• Prepare presentations and recommendations for management.
