Your role at a glance
The Associate Specialist, Sourcing – DC Ops is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities related to client fit-out projects within the Finance Transformation and Procurement business unit. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, compliance with company standards, and timely delivery of materials and services required for the Operations Team.What we are looking for
- KEY responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and procurement for client fit-out projects, including vendor identification, RFQs, and bid analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, finance, operations) to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards.
- KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with construction or fit-out materials and vendor landscape.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba or similar).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Preferred: Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in construction or client fit-out projects.
- Exposure to vendor management and contract administration.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs.
- Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility
- Remain stationary for long periods of time.
- Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.
- Position self in small spaces.
- Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
- Perform work during US business hours and time zones.
- Work conditions & other requirements
- Work onsite at a data center location.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Travel required 10% of time.
- Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement tools such as SAP Ariba
- Experience with construction or client fit-out projects and related materials
