The Opportunity

This role is responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers to ensure the organization receives high-quality materials at competitive prices and on time. You will play a key role in evaluating supplier performance, negotiating terms, and coordinating purchasing activities to meet current and future business needs.

What You’ll Work On

  • Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, timing, and reliability.

  • Recognize and leverage sales, promotional campaigns, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Assess supplier products for compliance with specifications and quality standards.

  • Analyze and evaluate bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations.

  • Negotiate pricing and delivery conditions to secure favorable terms.

  • Commit to purchases within established authority limits in the organization’s best interest.

  • Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase requisitions to align purchasing with demand.

  • Monitor quality and timeliness of delivered goods and materials.

  • Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

  • Communicate order status and updates to internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Science, Business, or Financial Degrees. 

  • 1-3 years of Procurement experience.  

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to interpret inventory and production documents.

  • Experience in supplier evaluation and procurement processes.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role.

  • Familiarity with tender and bid evaluation processes.

  • Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in procurement systems or ERP tools.

The base pay for this position is

$50,000.00 – $100,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
