About the Role
As an Associate Specialist, HR Services, you will support the full employee lifecycle-from interview scheduling and onboarding through day to day employee HR inquiries.
You will be part of Mastercard's Global Business Services Center (GBSC), delivering reliable, high quality HR support across regions and time zones.
Global Business Services Center (GBSC): is Mastercard's shared services organization supporting the business in all countries and business units.
Roles and responsibilities• Coordinate and schedule interviews in collaboration with hiring managers and recruiters.• Initiate and monitor background checks in compliance with company policies and local regulations.• Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters.• Collect and verify required onboarding documentation from new hires.• Create employee profiles and ensure accurate data entry across HR systems• Act as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions throughout the onboarding process.• Maintain and update onboarding trackers, reports, and documentation to ensure process transparency and compliance.• Monitor the status of new hires from offer acceptance to day one, ensuring all steps are completed on time.• Collaborate with internal teams (Benefits, Payroll, Total Rewards, etc.) to ensure readiness for the new hire's first day.• Administer the new hire process by reviewing and processing new hire transactions for MasterCard's Europe population.• Communicate new policies/processes to employees; resolve inquiries promptly to meet or exceed customer expectations and provide 'priceless employee experiences.• Manage confidential data professionally, adhering to HIPPA rules and MasterCard confidentiality requirements.
