About the Role
As an (Associate) Specialist, Data Analytics & Analytics Engineering, you will support data-driven decision-making across QIAGEN’s global marketing and commercial organization.
Working within the Marketing Analytics, Research & TechOps team, you will help turn data into actionable insights, scalable reporting, and reliable data products. The role spans marketing, customer, portfolio and commercial analytics, dashboarding, data automation, and the further development of our data products.
Depending on your strengths, experience and QIAGEN’s business needs, your focus may be more analytical, more technical, or a combination of both.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver analytics and insights across marketing activities, customer segments, product portfolios, and digital channels to support data-based business decisions
Build dashboards and reports, that enable efficient self-service analytics for marketing and commercial teams
Support data processes, automation, and analytics engineering by using SQL and, Python to transform, automate, and optimize data workflows, ETL processes, and analytical datasets
Contribute to key projects by building, maintaining or enhancing our data products, such as our contact DataMart, turning data into business value
Support campaign and marketing operations by contributing to campaign setup, audience selection, and lead processing
Your Profile
University degree, or final-year student, in data analytics, business, economics, marketing, computer science, mathematics, engineering, sciences or a related field, Master’s degree preferred
1+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, data automation, reporting, or a related area
Good SQL skills; Python experience for automation, data processing, validation, or analytics workflows
Good understanding of data models, KPIs, reporting logic, analytical datasets, and how data supports business decision-making
Experience with dashboarding tools, especially Power BI, CRM or marketing automation platforms is a plus
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in an international, cross-functional environment
Very good English skills, written and spoken.
