About the Role:
The Associate Sourcing Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing initiatives on various categories including primary packaging, secondary packaging, and indirect. This role is responsible for managing sourcing initiatives to identify best in class suppliers, provide competitive pricing and implement effective sourcing strategies for assigned commodities. This role will ensure that the supply base is capable of supporting business growth while delivering on service, quality and cost objectives.
- Execute RFPs and RFIs to continually improve the supplier network strength while reducing costs
- Complete Scorecard process for all vendor awards
- Assist in new vendor onboardings
- Partner with Sourcing Manager to negotiate and execute vendor contracts
- Communicate with NPD Ops Manager to meet deadlines and execute NPD Sourcing for packaging
- Contribute towards enterprise wide fuel for growth initiatives
- Follow strategic sourcing policy
- Investigate alternate sources of supply to major product categories; assess supplier capacities and skill sets
- Understand ongoing market insight and knowledge on current on all changes associated with the selected commodities, vendors/suppliers, market conditions, and pricing domestically and internationally
- Partner with Sourcing Manager to evaluate + address supply constraints to meet needs of regional or global markets
- Comply with all GMP, regulatory and ISO guidelines including company policies and departmental procedures
- Prepare cost analysis for review with Sourcing Manager
About You:
- At least 4-5 years of related sourcing experience
- Skilled negotiator
- Experience working with ERP solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure

Our Total Rewards:
The annual base pay for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
