Associate Solutions Engineer

PTC is hiring an Associate Solutions Consultant to join the VCoE department. This is an entry level role in which you will be trained in our Software Solutions, providing a fast career path with great development opportunities. You will be part of the Virtual Center of Excellence team which is responsible for providing technical expertise and demonstrations of PTC’s market leading engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) software solutions.  

Day-To-Day: 

• Utilize engineering methods and technology to learn, build and deliver demonstrations 
• Build Augmented Reality experiences in support of customer use case demonstrations 

• Lead technical conversations, presentations, and demonstrations for customers.  Potential topics include: Mechanical CAD (MCAD, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), Augmented Reality, Internet of Things (IoT) 
• Build knowledge in the latest technological market trends and software solutions to better help our customers understand how it is best to partner with PTC 
• Collaborate with field engineers to propagate technical knowledge and information when appropriate

• Strong written and verbal communication skills – including live presentations 
• Strong curiosity to learn about technology and engineering processes 
• Strong drive to continuously learn and to improve themselves and those around them 
• Eagerness to build internal and external relationships 
• Strategic thinking and ability to learn from mistakes 

Preferred Experience: 

• 0-1 years of experience 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or other technical field of study
