About the Role
G2 is looking for an Associate Solutions Consultant to join our growing Solutions Consulting team. This role is pivotal in bridging technical expertise with consultative support, enabling customers to achieve rapid ROI through seamless integrations and actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to provide tailored solutions that elevate customer experiences with G2’s data and marketing platforms.
As a technical advocate, you’ll not only demonstrate the value of G2’s offerings but also guide customers in maximizing their integrations with their existing tech ecosystems, ensuring early and sustained success.
Key Areas of Contribution:
- Pre-Sales Solutioning: Craft and deliver value-focused narratives, integration blueprints, and ROI-driven proposals tailored to individual customer goals.
- Technical Leadership: Scope, recommend, and oversee integrations, leveraging APIs and other technical tools to embed G2 data seamlessly into customer workflows.
- Customer Empowerment: Equip customers with best practices and strategic recommendations to utilize G2’s offerings effectively.
In this role you will:
Enhanced Technical Solutioning (40%):
- Partner with Sales to lead technical discussions with prospects, showcasing G2’s API and integration capabilities.
- Propose scalable, efficient integration pathways, demonstrating immediate value through proof-of-concept (POC) projects.
Customer Enablement (30%):
- Deliver technical workshops to help customers optimize G2’s solutions within their Martech and Salestech ecosystems.
- Create and maintain guides or toolkits (e.g., integration workflows) for customers to achieve early wins.
Innovation & Collaboration (20%):
- Work with the Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and suggest product enhancements.
- Contribute to internal projects aimed at improving API usability and fostering a vibrant developer ecosystem.
Continuous Development (10%):
- Regularly update technical skills and G2 product knowledge, including certifications in related tech tools like Snowflake, Salesforce, and API automation platforms.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience:
- 2-3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Customer Implementation) within B2B SaaS.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and data workflows.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in handling APIs, automation tools, and integration platforms.
- Familiarity with systems like Salesforce, Snowflake, and visualization tools like Sigma.
- Communication:
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in leading technical discussions with customers in a consultative model.
- Experience implementing SaaS solutions to address Go-to-Market challenges.
- Data manipulation experience.
- Knowledge of customer-facing tools and platforms like Tableau, HubSpot, or Marketo.
What can help your application stand out:
- Experience with systems integrations, API automation, and concepts like Snowflake Data Sharing.
- Proficiency in document formatting (PowerPoint, Google Slides, design skills, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, web design, dashboard creation).
- Experience with Salesforce reports or other sales/marketing reporting tools.
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
