ABOUT THE ROLE: Associate Solution Engineer
We are seeking an entry-level Associate Solutions Engineer to join our growing cloud security-networking team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to launch their career in technical sales and cloud networking. As an Associate Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our sales team to provide technical support for commercial-sized accounts and low ACV opportunities, helping customers understand and adopt our Aviatrix cloud networking solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Engagement
● Independently manage a portfolio of smaller Aviatrix accounts with minimal supervision
● Lead basic technical discovery calls and ask relevant architectural questions
● Conduct consultative interactions during low-complexity pre-sales meetings
● Provide customized product demos and technical overviews to prospects and customers
● Drive customer meetings forward by effectively navigating internal and customer teams
● Creates demos, and run the demo portal
Technical Solutions & Support
● Design low to medium complexity Aviatrix solutions spanning multiple product feature sets
● Define variations on existing solution designs to meet specific customer needs
● Lead and execute simple Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) with supervision from senior SEs
● Define relevant PoC technical success criteria and drive successful closure
● Understand end-to-end customer infrastructure and assess technical requirements
Collaboration & Documentation
● Assist senior Inside SEs with complex demos and PoCs for larger accounts
● Support more experienced team members on specific tasks, deals, and technical initiatives
● Produce high-quality technical documentation, both customer-facing and internal
● Create detailed success handover documentation and project summaries
● Navigate internal tools, systems, and cross-functional teams effectively
Professional Development
● Engage in self-directed learning with extended ramping period
● Develop deep understanding of Aviatrix technology and cloud networking concepts
● Build consultative selling skills and technical presentation abilities
● Understand and utilize proper escalation processes when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
● Terraform experience
● Typically less than 2 years of professional experience
● No prior Solutions Engineer experience required
Technical Skills
● Cloud platform certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure) strongly preferred
● Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security concepts
● Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and modern IT practices
● Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
● Terraform experience
Soft Skills
● Demonstrated technical curiosity and passion for learning
● Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
● Excellent organizational abilities and project management skills
● Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize competing demands
● Self-motivated with ability to work independently

US Pay Range
The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $92,866-$109,253 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity and is bonus eligible. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. The range displayed is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
