As a Software Product Marketing Manager on the Vello team, you will leverage sales and customer insights to deliver effective plans that drive customer acquisition, adoption, and advocacy across the product lifecycle.

Partnering closely with the Sales Organization, you will be responsible for Vello sales enablement strategy, infusing sales insights into our messaging, marketing, and product strategy for Vello. While serving as a content partner to our marketing and field teams. From demo tools, customer-facing content, and sales training to competitive intelligence and go-to-market launches, you will connect the field, product marketing, and product to bring new capabilities to market and deepen customer relationships. 

In This Role   

  • Campaigns & Programs: Support the creation of customer acquisition and engagement programs and materials that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy for IDEXX's veterinary software solutions in partnership with the Vetsoft marketing organization. This includes ownership & development of our monthly customer newsletter. KPIs: program-influenced leads and attach rate, feature adoption, customer satisfaction/NPS, and advocacy metrics (references, reviews, case studies).  
  • Sales Enablement Strategy & Content: Partner with sales leadership and training teams to develop, execute, and optimize our sales enablement strategy, using sales insights to inform demo tools (e.g., Storylane), enablement content, product messaging, customer-facing materials, and training. KPIs: product attach rate, time to close, and enablement content adoption by the sales team.  
  • Content Development: Serve as the content partner to our global marketing strategist and field marketing partners—identifying content needs, shaping content strategy, and leading content reviews on behalf of the team.  
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence: Monitor, document, and report on competitive intelligence gathered from the field, closing the loop between sales, product marketing, and product.  
  • GTM Planning & Execution: Plan and execute launches for new capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams across sales, success, onboarding, and customer education. 
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Build collaborative ways of working between product marketing and commercial teams for efficient and effective response to customer needs. 

  

What You Will Need to Succeed  

  • The right candidate has a strong mix of both commercial and product marketing experience, where proven commercial impact and understanding is key.  
  • 5+ years of marketing experience required, and Product Marketing experience is preferred. Any animal health industry experience is a plus. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented disposition with the ability to influence key stakeholders, foster collaboration, and drive results across cross-functional teams.  
  • Highly organized approach to project planning and tracking to ensure all key deliverables and milestones are met in lock step with cross functional stakeholders. 
  • Appetite for fast-moving collaborative environment. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring life to the product. 
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and switch between strategy and tactical execution. 
  • Self-starter with ability to manage a variety of large programs and deliverables at once. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver customer first marketing strategy, backed by results & highly measurable.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary.
