Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture and Engineering
- Design and optimize database architecture, data models, and schemas
- Implement and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for large-scale data processing
- Platform and Cloud Solutions
- Develop and manage data solutions on PaaS and cloud ecosystems
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of data platforms
- Data Quality and Compliance
- Perform needs assessments and enforce strict data quality standards
- Support compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
- Development and Deployment
- Build and deploy optimized solutions using Big Data technologies
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to deliver AI/ML-driven solutions
- Collaboration and Leadership
- Lead projects independently, manage technical deliveries, and mentor junior engineers
- Drive knowledge-sharing sessions and capability development within the team
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with software/hardware vendors for architectural impact
- Work closely with enterprise teams for requirement gathering and solution design
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and big data platforms
- Technical Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and PaaS solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and ML Ops workflows
- Expertise in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing
- Solid proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, Big Data frameworks, and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with data warehousing, storage engineering, and analytics platforms
- Data Management
- Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and metadata management
- Demonstrated ability to implement data security, governance, and compliance standards
- Proven skilled in building and automating data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
