We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have had some exposure with Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP and/or Azure), and be proficient in Java and SQL. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven applications and systems to support our growing modernization needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable platform native applications.
- Utilize cloud platforms (Snowflake, DataBricks, AWS, GCP) to build and manage scalable and performant applications.
- Collaborate with Sr. Engineers and Architects to develop and deploy applications to cloud platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Exposure to Snowflake - Native App Framework a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Programming Languages: Strong skills in Java and SQL.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must be located in Eastern, Central or Mountain Time Zone.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Experience with additional cloud platforms such as DataBricks.
