Role Overview:
We're seeking a passionate Associate Software Engineer to join our Comparison Platform Team. You'll work on the website comparison experience, shaping the face of Finder.
- You will be supported and mentored by Senior Software Engineers.
- You will be encouraged to go live fast and make mistakes.
- You will work on both front-end and back-end
- You will be obsessed with making the best user experience possible.
- You will constantly be learning and encouraged to explore emerging tech.
- You will join daily stand-ups, collaborate with Senior Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver a roadmap.
- You will write code, perform reviews, debug issues, document your work and be a respected member of our team.

Desired Experience and Skills

- You must have a passion for tech and learning
- Demonstrated by personal projects or interests
- You must be using AI to boost your productivity (cursor, ChatGPT etc.)
- Talk about how you use it in your workflow, what works, what doesn't.
- You must have Proficiency in one or more of the following:
- JavaScript/Typescript, PHP, Node.js, React, MySQL, Docker, HTML, CSS.
- You must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You should be willing to learn or have experience in Cloud Computing Platforms such as GCP.
