Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join our development team. In this entry-level role, you will work under the guidance of senior developers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn new technologies, and grow your skills in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Debug and resolve software issues under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Document code and processes for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as C, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be a US citizen, eligible for DoD security clearance.
Cubic Pay Range:
$35.00 hourly – $48.20 hourly + benefits.
The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
