In this role you will get to:

• Contribute to mission-critical projects with direct impact on the evolution of Priceline's applications and internal ecosystems.

• Be part of an agile, cross-functional team that continuously experiments, iterates, and delivers on product objectives.

• Design, build, and scale reusable systems supporting our core UX Framework and Client Architecture team.

• Showcase your engineering skills by optimizing frontend component performance, page layout rendering, client-side failure recovery, and real-time customer personalization.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.

• 2+ years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript experience with a proven track record of shipping consumer-facing web projects.

• Expertise in one or more modern client-side JavaScript frameworks or libraries (React).

• Experienced building applications with Node.js, has an understanding about how Node works, and applies common libraries like Express.

• Knowledge of Java and API integration concepts is a plus.

• Comfortable developing, querying, and optimizing GraphQL APIs to bridge backend data with UI components.

• Familiarity with enterprise design systems, component libraries, and modern frontend build tools or bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite).

• AI-Native & Forward-Thinking Mindset: Comfortably utilizes AI development tooling to maximize backend efficiency while bringing an active interest or experience in optimizing distributed systems for AI/LLM integrations, data pipeline automation, and intelligent service orchestration. 

• Familiarity with functional programming concepts and clean state management patterns. Rooted in software development best practices, including writing robust unit/integration tests, managing clean Git workflows, and actively collaborating in peer code reviews. Knowledge of Java and standard RESTful API integration concepts is a major plus.

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
