Associate Software Engineer - Microsoft Tech Stack

This is a hands-on, full-stack role where you will build and support business apps using the Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and a rich modern tech stack. You will lead the development and enhancement of business solutions, perform BAU activities, and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver continuous value.
You should bring strong analytical skills, the ability to manage stakeholders, and a proactive mindset that welcomes learning and tackling new challenges. The role is open to candidates across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end business applications using Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable tech solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other internal tools.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, ADF pipelines, and SQL Databases.
• Create reusable components using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Nuxt, React).
• Support BAU operations, implement enhancements, and resolve technical issues with minimal downtime.
• Use GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Monitor and optimize applications using Azure Application Insights.
• Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with Maersk’s organizational goals and transformation agenda.
• Stay updated with the Microsoft ecosystem and embrace new tools or frameworks as needed.

Tech Stack & Expertise Required

• Strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a proven ability to build and support business applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online, including custom integrations using JSON, CSS, and Teams-specific components.
• Proficient in C# development, with experience in building scalable services using Azure Functions and Azure Web Apps.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js, and React.js for creating modern, user-friendly interfaces.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Comfortable working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Qdrant DB.
• Exposure to Python FastAPI for backend services and APIs.
• Ability to monitor, diagnose, and optimize applications using Azure Application Insights.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Teams bots, and other modern integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem is a plus.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft and Azure platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online.
• Solid experience in building applications using C#, Azure Functions, Vue.js/Nuxt, or ReactJS.
• Proficient in building cloud-native solutions using Azure SQL, ADF, Blob Storage, and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with global stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a strong drive for learning and innovation.
