YOU
Entry-level role focused on maintaining and improving a C# desktop application while learning modern API and cloud practices. Work closely with senior engineers to implement features, fix bugs, document systems, and support migration efforts from Google Cloud to Azure.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
- Support and maintain the existing C# desktop application (bug fixes, testing, small features). (30%)
- Implement and test backend API endpoints and client-server integrations under mentorship. (25%)
- Assist with documenting architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures. (15%)
- Contribute to automated tests and basic CI/CD tasks (builds, automated runs). (10%)
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. (10%)
- Learn cloud fundamentals and help with migration tasks (research, small implementation tasks, testing). (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 1–3 years professional software development experience (internships/co-ops count).
- Solid C#/.NET fundamentals and familiarity with desktop app patterns (WPF/WinForms) or strong OOP skills.
- Comfortable writing unit tests and using Git-based workflows.
- Good debugging, communication, and willingness to learn cloud technologies.
- Ability to follow direction, document work, and ask clarifying questions.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and simple web service concepts.
- Exposure to any cloud platform (GCP, Azure) or container basics (Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) or automated test frameworks.

PAY
$66,600 - $106,600 / year
