We’re looking for a Junior Sitecore Developer to join the digital technology team and help deliver practical improvements across MECCA’s Sitecore environment. Building and updating Sitecore components, templates, layouts and content-driven features
Supporting the development, maintenance and enhancement of MECCA’s Sitecore platform
Troubleshooting defects, small enhancements and continuous improvement across digital channels
Working with senior developers to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical changes
Helping test, validate and document changes before they move through release
Working with product, digital, content and technology teams to support a high-quality customer experience
Some hands-on experience in software development, ideally using .NET / C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Understanding of modern web development fundamentals, including responsive web and front-end basics
Comfortable working with Git or a similar source control tool
Ability to follow development standards, write clear code and ask for help when needed
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from more experienced developers
An interest in Sitecore, CMS platforms, e-commerce or digital customer experience
Nice To Have:
Exposure to Sitecore, ASP.NET MVC, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, headless CMS concepts, retail or e-commerce environments.
This role is based in Richmond and works to MECCA’s four-days-per-week in-office rhythm. You’ll be joining a fast-paced retail technology environment where priorities can move quickly, so this will suit someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable learning on the job, and is motivated by building digital experiences that customers actually use.
This is a junior role, so you won’t be expected to know everything on day one. What will matter most is your attitude, your technical foundation, your ability to take feedback, and your willingness to keep improving.
