- Conducts patent searches and understands trends and technical needs
- Consistently demonstrates the highest SHE standards and lives by the Omya values
- Intervenes when inappropriate behavior is exhibited
- Exposed to and pursuing Omya leadership attributes
- May have role in coordinating ISO or safety activities for team or R&D department
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, material science, polymer science or similar. Minimum of 1 – 8 years’ technical experience and demonstrated knowledge in field and a willingness to do practical laboratory work. Effectively applies the scientific method or engineering design process and statistics in the solution to problems and their technical development. Basic project management skills.
Good command of both oral and written English is required. Occasional travel may be required. Must possess current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available for this position. EOE
