The Associate Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the entire sales organization, across all brands at Planet DDS (Denticon, Apteryx, Legwork, and Cloud 9). The individual will work closely with members of the sales organization and frequently be involved in cross-departmental collaboration. The Associate Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for performing administrative tasks such as entering, changing, or modifying data in Salesforce creating reports to show comprehensive sales analytics, responding to customer inquiries, working through technical issues with Account Executives, sending out sales agreements, reviewing all deals for completeness and accuracy, and other miscellaneous tasks. The position will require excellent communication, attention to detail, critical thinking and a love of ever-changing, fast-paced environments.
This is a hybrid position working 2x per week in either our Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ offices.
Job Duties
• Assist in the closing of all new sales opportunities within Salesforce, reviewing fields and quotes for accuracy, and ensuring quote is within deal parameters.
• Support our Enterprise sales organization with Salesforce data requests including setting up and maintaining parent/child account hierarchies and their associated contacts for large Dental Service Organizations.
• Set up imaging sites after clients purchase our solution.
• Assist account executives with Salesforce workflows, technical issues, and other processes, questions, or concerns.
• Work with the Director of Strategic Partnerships and the billing department to track referrals, analyze reseller trends, and make sure our partners are paid in a timely manner.
• Work with our Billing team to assist with customer refund or termination requests.
• Assist with month-end sales reporting.
• Build reports and dashboards inside Salesforce.
• Support CRM data integrity and manage day-to-day tasks, such as creating accounts, updating opportunities, and tracking product or campaign adoption.
• Work with current clients to add locations to their contract by sending out sales quotes
• Brainstorm ways to further improve our sales processes within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with the sales operations team to document best practices Perform other administrative tasks such as: event planning, booking travel, ordering office supplies, document creation, creating slide decks, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and tools; must be tech savvy
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, and able to solve problems in a resourceful manner
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of CRM software (experience with Salesforce is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be a self-starter eager to improve processes and systems
