The Ecomm Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis and reporting for our e-commerce channel. The successful candidate will generate and maintain various sales, share, and marketing reports to evaluate performance and uncover meaningful insights into underlying performance drivers. We seek an action-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of deriving insights from data, providing internal thought leadership, and thriving in a high-performance environment.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Own all ecomm reporting: develop, maintain, and present sales, share, and marketing performance reports.
- Analyze data and provide insights into underlying performance drivers.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and inform e-commerce strategies.
- Maintain monthly item-level shipment forecasts for Amazon.
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting to support business evaluation and analysis.
- Develop presentations for communication with leadership and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Education:
- University degree required (essential), preferably in business, economics or mathematics.
- Strong business communication skills, with the ability to zoom into details and communicate insights to senior leaders.
- Analytical and deductive reasoning skills, demonstrating strategic thinking and fact-based problem-solving.
- Relevant business experience in business analysis, preferably in CPG and/or e-commerce.
- Proficiency with reporting and forecasting tools (e.g., MS Office).
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel experience.
- Familiarity with Retail Link and Amazon Vendor Central is an asset.
