Your Impact
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Talent Partner responsible for executing the full recruitment cycle. This role involves everything from candidate cultivation to preparing offer letters and supporting leaders with matriculation. The Talent Partner will play a crucial role in ensuring that schools within their assigned portfolio are fully staffed each year. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with team leaders and the broader recruitment team.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Full Recruitment Cycle Management
- Source, screen, and cultivate candidates for various roles within schools and across teams.
- Conduct phone interviews and schedule finalist interviews, providing coaching and feedback to candidates.
- Prepare and send offer letters, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
Collaboration with leaders
- Work closely with leaders to understand staffing needs and develop action plans to meet those needs.
- Support leaders with the matriculation process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Accountability for Staffing
- Ensure that all teams within the assigned portfolio are fully staffed each year by meeting recruitment targets and timelines.
- Regularly check in with team staff to obtain referrals and maintain strong relationships.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and progress toward hiring goals.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss recruitment strategies, hiring goals, and retention strategies.
Skills You’ll Have
All candidates for this position will support AF core values, lead innovation, and manage projects to ensure our team, like our schools, are setting a high bar in all areas and pursuing it relentlessly. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a similarly, fast-paced work environment.
Travel may be required to and among our schools and offices at various locations (New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island).
An ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualification:
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with school staff and candidates.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data management and tracking recruitment metrics.

- Confident in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work autonomously as well as take direction as needed

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive communication style

Compensation
Achievement First sets salaries are set through a lens of equity, and based on the requisite skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. The salary for this position is $71,437.68. In order to uphold our commitment to equity, Achievement First does not negotiate pay. Additionally, Achievement First offers to all regular, full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 403(b) retirement benefit package with match, and paid Family Leave.
