Leads school safety across a charter-school network by developing emergency and crisis-response protocols, training staff, supporting schools during incidents, coordinating safety audits and corrective actions, maintaining emergency plans, managing safety budgets, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Serves as liaison to law enforcement, health departments, districts, and internal teams. The role is hybrid in Connecticut with regular travel to network schools for walkthroughs, trainings, and site support.

Leads Achievement First’s internal equity and employee belonging strategy while developing student-facing equity frameworks, toolkits, standards, and training. Builds measurable plans, metrics, and systems; partners with school and organizational leaders; advises on culturally responsive practices, community trauma, and systemic injustice; manages cross-functional initiatives; and communicates equity commitments to stakeholders.

Leads operational performance across a portfolio of 5–8 charter schools, coaching directors of school operations and supporting school leaders. Oversees budgets, enrollment, attendance, safety, facilities, transportation, compliance, employee relations, and operational excellence. Uses data analysis, professional development, talent practices, and cross-functional collaboration to improve outcomes, advance racial equity, and implement consistent regional and network-wide solutions.

Own enrollment data integrity, reporting, compliance submissions, lottery and waitlist data, audits, dashboards, and SQL-based analysis across a charter school network. Partner with Enrollment, School Operations, Legal, and Systems & Data teams to resolve data issues, document processes, monitor regulatory requirements, train staff, and improve reporting accuracy. The role requires managing deadline-driven compliance cycles and communicating technical findings clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.

The Senior Associate of Accounting oversees payroll recording, reclasses, intercompany activity, grant revenue recognition, reconciliations, consolidations, budget-to-actual reporting, AP aging, audits, and regulatory compliance across multiple charter school entities. The role prepares consolidated financial statements, payroll reconciliations, functional expense allocations, and state reporting. It collaborates with FP&A and school operations, maintains accounting processes, and supports year-end close and audits.

Leads special services across multiple schools, coaching school-based leaders and improving supports for students with disabilities, multilingual learners, and intervention needs. Responsibilities include classroom observations, professional development, data reviews, program planning, IEP and legal compliance, funding support, family and agency collaboration, and coordination with regional and school leadership. The role requires daily travel among school sites, frequent communication with compliance offices, and strategic expansion of special education services.
