As an Associate Recruiter, you will play a key role in hiring candidates that align with our core values, are eager to grow with us, and that share our enthusiasm for providing top-notch talent at PitchBook. You will build strong relationships with recruiters, managers, and hiring teams in order to understand our evolving hiring needs. Your positive attitude and behind the scenes efforts make the candidate experience at PitchBook impressive. You will execute every stage of the hiring process including sourcing, creating job postings, screening, scheduling, and administrative duties.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Support recruiters by owning scheduling, coordinating, facilitating onsite interviews, and interview-related activities
- Regularly meet with and build relationships with senior recruiters and hiring managers to effectively prioritize and establish work plan for requisitions
- Work with senior recruiters and managers to develop targeted and creative searches to build a pipeline of candidates for different positions
- Efficiently and effectively screen candidates for technical and cultural fit before presenting the most highly qualified candidates to the hiring team
- Produce accurate weekly recruiting status reports using Greenhouse and Tableau
- Create an exceptional experience for all candidates and employees throughout the interview process
- Understand how we measure recruiting success and work to consistently meet, exceed, and report on goals in weekly updates to the team and others
- Accurately maintain Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System, to ensure we are taking advantage of efficiencies and reporting opportunities
- Manage the background check process to ensure candidates meet all required standards prior to employment
- Identify and implement operational process improvements within the recruiting team
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years previous experience working on a recruiting team; hybrid experience of coordination and full life cycle recruiting a plus
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proven talent to think on your feet and handle issues with resourceful solutions
- Demonstrated success in a role requiring extensive customer interaction
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Previous experience with an applicant tracking system a plus

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $65,000-$75,000
- Target annual bonus percentage: 7.5%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
