Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical requirements
- Participate in requirement analysis, identifying test scenarios, test data, and edge cases early in the SDLC
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing across applications
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA members to resolve issues
- Contribute to test planning, test strategy discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
- Support CI/CD pipelines by validating builds and ensuring release quality
- Participate in peer reviews for test cases and automation scripts
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD concepts
- Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST clients
- Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
- Proven attention to detail with a solid commitment to delivering high-quality software
