LastPass is looking for an Associate QA Engineer:
In this role, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of development items, as well as the creation and timely execution of manual tests at both the integration and system levels.
As a member of a Scrum team, you'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in quality assurance, applying your analytical skills daily in close collaboration with test automation engineers and developers.
This position also offers involvement in the release process, where you’ll contribute by validating release packages to ensure high-quality software delivery.
About the team:
You will join a small, collaborative Android development Scrum team responsible for delivering key features of our mobile application. This team plays a vital role within LastPass’s mobile development cluster, focusing on building and enhancing the app for one of the two major mobile operating systems.

Who will you work with?
You’ll be part of a small mobile feature team led by an engineering manager, working closely with a dedicated product manager, QA engineers, SDETs, and mobile developers. We value team players who are proactive, enjoy taking on meaningful challenges, and thrive in collaborative environments with open technical discussions.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX Designers, QA engineers, and developers
- Perform verification and validation of mobile features and updates
- Participate in release validation activities to ensure high-quality deployments
- Analyze requirements to ensure testability and completeness
- Design and maintain effective test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Execute scripted tests and document results
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Understanding of general software development processes
- Basic knowledge of mobile software architecture
- Familiarity with testing fundamentals, including various test types, testing levels, and a high-level understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and practices
- A strong quality mindset and passion for delivering reliable software
It's great, but not required:
- Previous experience in a QA, development, or other role within the software industry
- ISTQB certification or other relevant QA-related certifications
