Associate QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview: 

We're looking for an Associate Automation QA Engineer. You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products.  You will collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals to design and implement automated testing frameworks, create robust test suites, and execute test cases on Azure Cloud Platform. What you will do: 

- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for applications running on the Azure Cloud Platform.

- Execute automated test suites and perform basic manual testing when needed to validate application functionality.

- Work with senior QA Automation engineers to learn and apply automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Azure DevOps.

- Help design and maintain test cases and test data for automated testing.

- Collaborate with developers to understand application behavior and identify automation-friendly test scenarios.

- Analyze test execution results, report defects, and assist in troubleshooting failed automated tests.

- Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability.

- Continuously improve automation skills and contribute to enhancing test coverage and test reliability.

What you will need: 

- 1–3 years of experience in QA Automation, software testing, or relevant academic/personal projects.

- Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium or similar tools).

- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Python (foundational level).

- Introductory understanding of Azure Cloud Platform and cloud-based application testing.

- Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or version control systems (Git) is a plus.

- Understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle).

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn automation best practices.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
