About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate QA Automation Engineer to join our experienced development team. You will report directly to the Team Lead and assist with all functions of software testing. Your primary focus will be to learn the product and its codebase and respond to requests from senior engineers.
To ensure success as an Associate QA Automation Engineer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team
environment. Ultimately, a top-class Associate QA Automation Engineer provides valuable support to the
development team while continually improving their skills.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Assisting the development team with all aspects of software testing and quality
  • Executing test cases and analyse results
  • Attending and contributing to team development meetings
  • Learning the products and improving your QA skills
  • Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Maintain and contribute to new and existing Automation Test frameworks 


Skills, experience and behaviours

  • Experience with C#/.NET is a must
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment with excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail with analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Additional Skills considered as good to have

  • Initial experience wit Automation testing
  • Experience with QA and testing activities
  • Experience with Gherkin/SpecFlow 
  • Experience with JavaScript 
  • An academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
