Title:
Associate ProjectKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for an Associate Project Engineer to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Associate Project Engineer will support the Project Manager by coordinating the contractor’s team activities to ensure that the milestones are met, the work complies with all relevant government and international legislation, & is meeting or exceeding technical, cost, & HSSE expectations.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Project Manager with
Contractor’s organization, project planning, setting objectives, & priorities
Monitoring progress
Conducting audits & reviews
Liaising with various parties within the project team to collate local content cost data
Reporting and monitoring Local Content progress on a monthly basis.
Ensuring that sufficient resources are available to perform the work
Meeting technical, cost, & HSSE objectives
- Assist Project Management to
Ensure that the design complies with the requirements of the work in accordance with the criteria, specifications, & standards required pursuant to the contract
Continually review the design against the design goals and that it complies with requirements of HSSE philosophies and adequate standards as accepted within the O&G industry
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering related field
Minimum of 3 years of related experience, with average experience of around 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry
3 + years of experience as an Associate Project Engineer for LNG Plants including FEED & EPCI experience
Good working knowledge of project management & project control
Ability to coordinate & interface with other contractors and 3rd parties
Proven technical, commercial, & HSSE experience
Established competence working within a risk based HSE framework
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and superior planning and organizational skills
Chartered engineer status within a recognized engineering body or be a registered professional engineer
Advanced degree in Engineering
