The Associate Project Manager will lead medium project initiatives or manage multiple engagements for a single Vistex customer. The primary responsibility of this role is to successfully deliver the assigned projects and build client relationships. The Vistex Associate Project Manager will provide leadership across all technical and business process aspects for the engagements they manage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects at any given time
- Identify and report to sales manager new service opportunities for your assigned clients
- Report appropriate consulting skills required for the projects
- Onsite Lead for implementation project(s)
- Manage and report needs of change requests (CR) to sales team
- Adhere to all documented PMO process and procedures (DM Manual and related documentation).
- Apply on deliverables, templates and standards for the project.
- Develop and manage detailed integrated project plan including project milestone and deliverables.
- Identify, track, and report project performance metrics to the client.
- Manage project issues/risks, scope, budgets and client expectations.
- First point of escalation for project related issues.
- Establish "trusted advisor" relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders.
- Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount and deliverable completion.
- Manage and maintain project financials (resources, schedule and budget).
- Develop in depth knowledge of project implementation methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better. Experience Required Experience in project support, project coordination, or project management roles. Solid understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, risk management, issue management, governance, and change control. Experience tracking project schedules, maintaining RAID logs, and driving action item follow-up with internal teams and clients. Ability to prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, action plans, and executive presentations. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Project is considered. Advanced or fluent English proficiency. Preferred Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, and SAP Activate (preferred). Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP. Previous experience supporting SAP projects and exposure to SAP S/4HANA are highly desirable PMO experience is a plus. Knowledge of Vistex software will be a plus.Skills Required
