The Production Associate supports plant manufacturing operations by independently performing standard production, packaging, and quality tasks in accordance with established procedures. This role contributes to safe, efficient production flow while ensuring products meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements.
What you’ll do- Operate and monitor assigned production or packaging equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
- Load, unload, and stage materials and product to maintain continuous production flow.
- Perform in‑process quality checks and inspections, identifying and escalating defects or deviations.
- Package finished product accurately, ensuring correct labeling, sealing, and product presentation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, housekeeping, and hygiene standards, including GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Assist with routine equipment setup, changeovers, and minor adjustments within scope of training.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or safety observations to operators, leads, or supervisors.
- Complete required production documentation and records accurately and on time.
- Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other production or support tasks as assigned to meet plant needs.
- B.Tech Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/ Dairy Science/ Food Science
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Dairy industry
- Ability to work independently within defined procedures after training.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑based manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Skills Required
