Job Description:

The production associate supports daily production and distribution operations by leading work activities on the assigned line while actively performing operational tasks. This role provides day‑to‑day coordination, system support, and issue resolution to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable execution of production and distribution activities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead daily operational activities on the assigned line or area while performing hands‑on work alongside partners
  • Coordinate workflow, priorities, and task execution to maintain continuous operations and service levels
  • Support finished goods movement and distribution activities to ensure accurate and timely execution
  • Maintain accurate finished goods and distribution records and research inventory shortages or discrepancies
  • Use and monitor distribution and shipping systems to identify, resolve, or escalate system issues
  • Schedule and coordinate outbound loads and appointments to support distribution center operations
  • Serve as a point of support for partners with system questions, process issues, or workload balancing
  • Communicate and coordinate with other distribution centers, production scheduling, and support partners
  • Perform and verify required PCP and CCP checks and follow established reaction plans for food safety, quality, and customer requirements
  • Record accurate production and distribution data and support reporting requirements
  • Participate in improvement initiatives or short‑term projects to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Reinforce safe work practices and compliance with standard operating procedures

What you will need to succeed

  • B. Tech Dairy Technology/ Food Technology/ Dairy Science/ Food Science
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in production, distribution, or plant operations
  • Strong working knowledge of line operations, distribution processes, and system‑based workflows
  • Experience supporting or coordinating shipping, scheduling, or inventory activities
  • Ability to lead work activities and priorities without formal people‑management responsibility
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to maintain focus on both daily execution and broader operational needs
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate across teams and functions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety, food safety, and quality standards

Skills Required

  • B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Dairy Science, or Food Science
