Role: Associate Product Officer – Liabilities ( UAE National )
Location: Abu Dhabi
ROLE PURPOSE:
To support Department / Unit Head in leading and managing the performance of existing products as well as launching new products.
This role must support new projects and existing key business objectives for products, which may include but are not limited to system changes, coordination among various stakeholders, creation/update of policy and procedure manual as well as Product Programs.
Provide special focus on anchor products related communication and product development activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
New products / projects management:
• To represent Products in new project enhancements
Support Function:
• Support frontline on daily business queries and achieving product and business development objectives by helping the Head of Department / Unit in managing the existing and new products.
• Handling of all day-to-day product related tasks along with Product Manager.
• Support Head of Department / Unit in coordination with supporting departments (with Sharia, Legal, and ITD, ICD, ORM and Marketing departments) to ensure smooth functioning of products and processes.
• Coordinate with Marketing for any campaigns related to any products and management of Product collaterals e.g., FAQs, Website update, Digital Marketing etc.
• Prepare/Provide Monthly MIS reporting on products to stay updated and track product achievement, competition review and market research.
• Follow-up on monthly tracking reports received from ACE and ITD
Products and Business Development/Management:
• Assist the Head of Department / Unit in design, development, and enhancement of products to ensure that they are in line with the market needs.
• Provide inputs and market insights to Head of Department / Unit and recommend changes which are commercially viable that meets the market demand and external business partners.
• Revamp, repackage and update terms and conditions for all Products offers.
• Managing products related complaints and inquiries received through Customer Experience and Complaints teams and provide a solution to address the issue.
Perform any other product development and management responsibilities entrusted by Bank’s management from time to time.
Prepare detailed competition scan and of new products being offered by other banks under Products.
• Prepare and renew product programs on a yearly basis that are aligned with the business goals.
• Prepare project plans and ensure timely implementation of new initiatives.
• Timely completion of all tasks & filing / record keeping of all material.
• Timely and error free responses to all Product related complaints and enquiries.
• Follow-up with Branches / Network on any exceptions
• Prepare and provide Product Related training
• Project involvement (first point of contact) in all Product related enhancements
• Delivery of all items per year Department / Unit Score Card / Objectives
• Timely and accurate update of Product related collateral, terms and conditions and other support processes.
• Assist the Line manager in implementing new product proposals and align policies procedures and process flow in coordination with Sharia, Legal, and ITD, ICD, ORM and Marketing departments.
• Propose and manage product communication in line with the Bank’s standard of communication through all the delivery channels.
• Initiate new processes and review of existing processes and enhancements by liaising and following up with other support departments to get the products approved and implemented.
• Regularly review all products on ADIB website, ATL/BTL Marketing content and update any changes i.e. leaflets, Flyers, outdoors Ads and Newspaper Ads.
• Launch on-going training programs for frontline officers.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:
- Basic MS office skills.
- Knowledge of UAE Banking market and competition offering
- Basics of project management
- Knowledge of Islamic Banking is preferred
