Position Summary/Objective
The Sr. Product Marketing Analyst is responsible for researching and summarizing market, customer, product, and competitive insights to support the creation of messaging and positioning, with the goal of driving pipeline creation and revenue. This role collaborates with product and go-to-market teams to improve the overall effectiveness of marketing and sales messaging. The Sr. Analyst plays a key role in supporting positioning for core products, new products, and broader market opportunities. They have a strong professional curiosity and a baseline understanding of products and personas. The Sr. Product Marketing Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager of Product Marketing.
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform product messaging and positioning.
- Contribute to the development of product messaging frameworks, based on data-driven insights, competitive research, and market trends.
- Identify customer needs, workflows, and competitive gaps to identify new opportunities for products or market segments.
- Support research on competitors and stay informed about trends to develop differentiated messaging for core and new products.
- Support research on key buyer personas, customer values, and buying habits using both internal and external data.
- Assist with product launches by coordinating marketing activities and delivering product messaging and positioning.
- Participate in product management meetings to align on product updates and assign marketing tasks for new product introductions.
- Support development of solution-oriented content for all products, including data sheets, and sales presentations, and partner with content strategy lead on other content types:
- Partner with Sales Enablement to contribute to effective sales materials that ensure consistency in product, solution, and persona-based messaging across the organization.

This position does not have managerial or supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience in product marketing or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in SaaS, FinTech, Workday services, or a technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record in supporting go-to-market strategies and product launches.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, including Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis to drive product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating product details into clear, compelling messages.
- Experience with sales enablement, content creation, and demand generation is a plus.
- Experience working with or supporting enterprise sales teams.
