The Role

Position Summary 

The Associate Product Marketing Manager works collaboratively to develop and maintain marketing tools, sales training programs, and marketing communication materials that support the launch and ongoing sales efforts of the Infusion Systems marketing team. This position is responsible for working closely day-to-day with the Global Product Managers on the Infusion Systems portfolios and will work with the global commercial team to monitor market trends, analyze reports and ensure marketing projects meet specific milestones and timelines.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing projects involving cross functional teams with strict timelines and milestones. 
  • Report on the process of marketing projects to leadership with details around accomplishments and risks
  • Develop and analyze reports from our CRM tool, competitive and current install base reports
  • Work alongside Global Product Managers to track, maintain and manage marketing projects
  • Develop product knowledge and function as a resource for customers, Sales, and Contracts personnel. It requires understanding, collaborating with and influencing key corporate stakeholders, including R&D and operations/production.
  • Work with the Marketing organization to provide input to product design, development and release process for the Infusion Systems portfolios.
  • Support Marketing, Sales and clinical support teams through the development and maintenance of various marketing collateral, including field training presentations, online and printed marketing content, and demos, including the maintenance of our digital sales enablement tools.
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses, features, underlying technology, etc. to establish technical differentiation and feature/benefit statements.
  • Monitor competitor activity and current industry/clinical activity through published papers, studies, and media. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing product offerings and communicate to the upstream product development team.
  • Provide product knowledge and training to internal stakeholders
  • Respond to and support RFP and RFI requests for the Infusion Systems portfolios 
  • Administer our RFP response tools with CQI efforts, including RFP debriefing and analytics
  • Work on special assignments as they arise

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficient in Excel (Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt and articulate the ICU Medical portfolio value. 
  • Background in medical device marketing is highly desired
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Strong project planning skills, including organizing tasks, tracking deadlines, and ensuring deliverables move through the workflow smoothly. 
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying and mitigating potential project risks. Anticipates basic risks or delays, escalates issues when needed, and adapts to shifting priorities.
  • Communication: Effective stakeholder management and reporting. 

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; additional consideration for an MBA and/or technical undergraduate degree
  • Prior product management experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools to keep work organized and visible is a plus.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience required.

Work Environment

  • This is largely a sedentary role. 
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • Typically requires travel 5-20% of the time

Salary Range - $65k – $129k
The salary range displayed represents the annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The actual salary may vary [differ] based upon various factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, licensure/certifications, and geographic location
