This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Product Content to help define how our products are understood across HarbourVest’s Global Private Wealth platform.

In this role, you’ll work closely with investment professionals, product specialists, and marketing partners to turn complex strategies into clear, compelling messaging for wealth audiences. You’ll help shape how our products are positioned in the market and ensure that story comes through consistently across materials.

You’ll also create timely content tied to market developments, investment insights, and fundraising priorities so our messaging stays relevant, current, and useful in real conversations with clients.

What you will do:

  • Own and continuously improve product narratives, including value proposition, positioning, and differentiation
  • Translate investment philosophy, process, and portfolio construction into messaging that is clear and relevant for wealth audiences
  • Build and maintain core product materials, including presentations, pitchbooks, and evergreen content
  • Create timely content such as market commentary, investment perspectives, and product-related thought leadership
  • Ensure product messaging remains consistent and up to date across regions, channels, and client-facing materials
  • Partner with investment professionals and product specialists to gather inputs and refine product positioning
  • Work with Product Marketing to ensure messaging is accurately reflected in sales enablement deliverables and client materials
  • Collaborate with Client Marketing to incorporate product narratives into campaigns and events
  • Incorporate feedback from Investor Relations and client-facing teams to strengthen product positioning over time
  • Manage content development end-to-end, coordinating across investment, legal, compliance, and marketing teams
  • Ensure all materials meet high standards for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a steward of product narrative integrity, ensuring consistency and differentiation across all product-related communications.
  • And other responsibilities as required

What you bring:

  • Experience supporting private wealth clients, platforms, or distribution channels strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of private markets strategies, investment processes, and portfolio construction
  • Proven experience developing product value propositions and client-facing narratives
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation development skills
  • Comfort partnering directly with investment professionals and synthesizing complex information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education Preferred

Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience

Experience

5-8 years experience in private markets product marketing, investment communications, product specialist roles, or related functions within asset management or alternatives.

Base Salary Range

$120,000.00 - $130,000.00

This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years' experience in product marketing or related roles
  • Experience in US wealth marketplace
  • Familiarity with private markets products
  • Strong presentation development skills
  • Hands-on experience with RFPs/DDQs
